Inspire Diplomats Bootcamp Successfully Concludes at The Westminster College
Kupandole, Lalitpur: The two-day Inspire Diplomats Bootcamp was successfully held at The Westminster College on Friday and Saturday, organized by the Youth Diplomatic Club (YDC) Nepal.
The event witnessed the participation of students from diverse academic backgrounds and marked the official launch of the YDC Nepal Chapter. Designed to empower youth through interactive activities, skill-building sessions, and networking opportunities while promoting leadership, team work, and international collaboration to foster personal and professional growth.
Day 1 Highlights: Inspirational Address by Former Education Minister
The first day began with an inspiring address by former Education, Science and Technology Minister and Member of Parliament honorable Devendra Poudel. He emphasized the importance of linking education with employment and productivity, highlighting how initiatives like the bootcamp can contribute to educational reforms and youth empowerment.
Day 2 Highlights: Dr. Upendra Mahato’s Motivational Insights
On the second day, renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr. Upendra Mahato shared his journey, from his early education to his global professional achievements. He emphasized that the true measure of education lies in the contributions individuals make to society. Dr. Mahato also underscored the importance of networking and lifelong learning.
Special Guest Sessions and Insights
Senior Sub-Editor of Nari Magazine, Laxmi Bhandari, discussed livelihood challenges in Nepal. She encouraged participants to strive for their goals with persistence, emphasizing how this can enhance the quality of life for Nepalese citizens.
The event celebrated the launch of the YDC Nepal Chapter, with Youth Ambassador Ashima Jha expressing her excitement and congratulating all participants. Chirag Majithia was announced as the Youth Ambassador for the Nepal Chapter.
