'Samdi Esports' won the title of the PUBG tournament held at Westminster
Kathmandu. Samdhi Esports team has won the title of the PUBG tournament organized by The Westminster College in Kupondole. Samdhi won the title by scoring the highest number of points in the three-day games held in the college premises.
A total of 18 teams participated in the competition. Each team played 9-9 games and managed to become the winner with 93 points. The winning team received a trophy, certificate and a cash prize of 37,000 rupees.
In the competition, the Together we Dominate team succeeded in becoming the first runner-up. The runner-up team received 24,000 rupees along with a certificate. Similarly, Wreckers has won the title of second runner-up. Wreckers received 14,000 rupees with a certificate.
Sujan Rai became the most valuable player of the tournament. He has received Rs 5,000 in cash along with a certificate. Arun Lal Joshi, principal of the college and Rashma Mahara of 'Rashmay Cast' presented the prizes to all the winners.
Joshi, principal of Westminster College, while responding after the event said, 'This event is organized with the aim of promoting Esports among college students. I express my commitment to organize such programs in the future for the all-round development of students.
The tournament was managed by Tenets.
